DT640 Utility Crawler

The DT640 is a versatile and fully waterproof utility crawler designed for inspection and cleaning work in challenging environments. This modular platform is suitable for applications such as tank inspections, ship hulls, steel structures, and reservoirs, where safety, reach, and flexibility are paramount.

HD Camera & 360° View

The DT640 is equipped with an HD camera with pan and tilt functionality, giving operators full control over the field of view. Thanks to the 360° rotation circle, even hard-to-reach or normally inaccessible locations can be easily inspected. Powerful LED lighting ensures a clear image, even in dark or murky conditions.

Magnetic or Rubber Drive

Depending on the application, the DT640 can be equipped with magnetic wheels or a rubber drive. The patented magnetic wheels allow for safe movement over steel surfaces, such as ship hulls and tanks, even vertically or upside down. For general applications, rubber wheels provide stable traction on various surfaces. Advanced Sonar & Measurement Capabilities

For inspections in low visibility, the DT640 can be equipped with advanced sonar integrations, allowing objects and obstacles to be mapped quickly. Additionally, an ultrasonic thickness gauge can be added for accurate wall thickness measurements, even through coatings or fouling. This makes the system suitable for corrosion inspections and structural analyses.

Modular Platform for Inspection and Cleaning

The modular design makes the DT640 suitable for more than just inspection. With add-ons such as a high-pressure sprayer or vacuum head, the crawler can also be used for cleaning operations, such as removing sediment, sludge, or fouling. This allows tanks and reservoirs to be maintained without taking them out of service.

Battery-Powered & Long-Term Operation

The DT640 operates entirely on internal batteries with an operating time of more than 8 hours. This makes the system independent of external power supply and widely applicable, even in remote locations. With a maximum depth of 50 meters, the crawler continues to function reliably underwater. The construction of stainless steel, aluminum, and reinforced acrylic makes the DT640 resistant to harsh conditions and intensive use. Despite its robust construction, the system remains compact and portable, with simple operation via an intuitive controller and live video feedback.
